We as a practice has been very fortunate in that our local PCT has decided to allow us to continue seeing our young patients under the NHS scheme and the fact that we can continue this service in our practice is extremely good news for us as your children are seen and regarded as an important part of our commitment to family care.
We have now found ourselves in the fortunate position of having the extra capacity to open our books to more children (up to the age of 18 or in full time education) as part of our NHS commitment. We are therefore informing all our existing patients that if any family members' children wish to join the practice they will be more than welcome.
Once they reach the age of 18 (or when they have finished full time education) they can join the practice on a private basis. This is something we would be more than happy to discuss and if you require further information, please call Pat Hamspon who will be pleased to talk about this in more detail.
We have a Therapist in the Practice who is committed to children's dental health and in addition to seeing their Practitioner, they would also see her once a year where diet, tooth brushing and oral hygiene etc. will be monitored.
