• Root Canal Treatment
A tooth consists basically of a crown and a root. The crown is the part that you can see in your mouth (above the gum line).

• Examinations
When you come to see us for the first time we take a detailed medical history and find out how you feel about your teeth and any improvements you might want to make.

• Fillings
There are several types of ‘white fillings or restorations’ which can be used to restore teeth. Your Dentist will discuss the various options and costs with you.

• Fissure Sealants
These are applied to healthy back teeth (usually after 6 years of age) to help protect the grooves and pits of those teeth that can be hard to clean and are prone to developing cavities.

• Fixed Bridges
A bridge is a means of replacement for a tooth or teeth that are missing. They look and act like your own teeth and can restore natural function and aesthetics.

• Hygienist
The hygienist's role is to provide treatments and information about the structures that hold your teeth in, this includes bone levels, ligaments and gum.

• Implants
The Practice is pleased to employ the services and expertise of Mr Robert Adams BDS, FDS RCS(Eng), MSurgDent RCS, MSc (UCL, Implant Dentistry). Specialist in Surgical Dentistry/Implantologist who has been specialising in Dental Implants for many years.

• Tooth Whitening
Whitening is safe and gives excellent results. The effects should last for many years but we also provide 'top up' gel to help to keep your smile white and bright.

• Veneers
Veneers are very thin, custom made, specially shaped shells of porcelain that are attached to the front of your teeth.

• Wisdom Teeth
Adults can have up to 32 teeth. The wisdom teeth are the last to come through, right at the back.

• Non Surgical Cosmetic Treatments

• Dental Therapy
As from the 1st of July 2002, legislation permits a Dental Therapist to work in any sector of dentistry. A registered Dentist must examine the patient and indicate clearly in writing the course of treatment that the Dental Therapist is to carry out.

We as a practice has been very fortunate in that our local PCT has decided to allow us to continue seeing our young patients under the NHS scheme
