Dr. Ghasoon Smith started working at the practice in 2009 after a lengthy search to find the right person to join our committed team. Her professionalism, ethics and friendliness reflect the principals of the practice which are so important to us. Ghasoon is local to Cheshire (living in Wilmslow for most of her life) and after leaving St Hilary’s School in Alderley Edge she then went on to Manchester University and qualified as a Dentist in 1999. Following a year in Surrey completing her compulsory Vocation Training, she moved back home to Cheshire where she worked in several practices, both NHS and Private and gained an extensive range of skills in general dentistry. Ghasoon has recently gained a post graduate diploma of Membership of the Joint Dental Faculties at the Royal College of Surgeons of England. She is passionate about providing the highest standard of dental care and feels that preventative dentistry is of prime importance towards the oral health and the well being of all patients. She has a natural empathy with those patients who are nervous or have a phobia about visiting the dentist. She has a keen interest in Cosmetic Dentistry and is a member of the British Dental Association, British Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry and the Faculty of General Dental Practice at the Royal College of Surgeons of England.
