Tooth Whitening
As we get older, the teeth may darken and become a yellowish or grey colour.
Whitening is safe and gives excellent results. The effects should last for many years but we also provide ‘top up’ gel to help to keep your smile white and bright.
We provide two types of whitening
The first treatment is an 'in surgery' whitening treatment which takes just about 2 hours using the latest whitening technology activated by a gentle light source.
The second treatment is carried out at home and the desired result takes longer to achieve and requires commitment.
System No. 1 : In Surgery Instant Whitening
- At the first visit we discuss the shade and the type of whitening treatment which is suitable for your needs. We also take impressions of your teeth, send these to the Laboratory who make a mouth guard to fit your mouth exactly. This visit will take approximately 15 minutes.
- At the second visit (approximately one week later) we apply the gel, and activate it using a gentle light source. This takes approximately two hours and gives you instant whitening. This treatment is complemented by, and includes, our home follow-up kit should you feel you need your teeth to be lightened even further.
- Total cost £425.00 including free consultation, complimentary scale and polish, if required, laboratory constructed mouth guard and home 'top up' kit.
System No. 2 : Home Whitening
- The first visit is exactly the same as for System 1.
- At the second visit (approximately 1 week later) we 'kick start' the whitening by asking you to stay in the surgery with the mouth guard in place for about 30 minutes.
- You will be given the gel to take home and asked to wear the mouth guard which holds the gel for between half to one hour twice daily.
- You will then be monitored over a 2 – 4 week period.
- Total cost £295.00 including free consultation, complimentary scale and polish, if required, and laboratory constructed mouth guard.
