The Dental Examination

When you come to see us for the first time we take a detailed medical history and find out how you feel about your teeth and any improvements you might want to make.

We have three dentists in the Practice and each one is highly committed to helping you to feel relaxed and comfortable.

Your dentist will discuss all aspects of your dental health and will give you options and treatment plans (including costs) prior to commencement of treatment

Your dentist will:

• Check your teeth and existing fillings or restorations
• Carry out a detailed periodontal (gum) examination
• Check the health of your gums and soft tissue
• Check for any signs of oral cancer or infection
• Check any bridge work or denture work
• Take radiographs which show an instant digital image which you will be able to see
